Yeah he was kinda asking for that one. 66 guns in a year is not exactly just shooting some and selling it. Sorry, but even the guys in the FBI aren't always immune to being arrested.

actually 66 over 5 years, The most was 24 in 1 year. To me that is allot but if I made allot of money I could see myself going though a few more guns. I can't see myself still doing that many even if I was a millionaire.

Kinda looks like some fall out from Failed and Disastrous.

On April 14, 2010, a federal jury convicted Shipley of one count of dealing firearms without a license, four counts of causing a firearms dealer to maintain false records and one count of making a false statement to federal authorities. Jurors found that Shipley engaged in the business of dealing in firearms from January 2005 until May 2008, while not being licensed as a federal firearms dealer. Evidence presented during trial revealed that Shipley posted firearms for sale using an Internet website more than 200 times, including multiple postings for many firearms. During that three-and-a-half-year time period, Shipley also purchased at least 54 firearms, then sold at least 51 of those firearms for more than $118,000.

They could only tag him for the 54/51 b/c that's what was on paper. According to other sources, it appears to be far more.

I might buy and trade 4 guns a year if that and I haven't done that in a while. 24 a year is not the average joe buying and sell/trade.

He is also accused of providing other federal agents with false documents to hide the number of guns he sold.

IMO, the guy far surpassed the casual hobbyist/enthusiast.
