Worth a look. Right after the place opened up, thought I knew where it was and went by when in Brainerd but it wasn't where I thought and couldn't find it.

I need to get the van fixed. Be a shame if was to see some wood or whatever that wouldn't fit in the jeep. Had the van parked out back because I only drive it to tote big stuff, and the dogs chased a possum up into the engine compartment and ate some of the wires underneath trying to get a good bite of possum.

Not quite the story you hear every day... :D

That is a shame. I have been in a few times, and they have a good store but it was probably a bad location. It was much better than the Knoxville store.

Hi Major Kong. Yep, it deserves to be a Jeff Foxworthy joke, "You might be a redneck if your dogs ate the wiring out of your truck trying to get a possum."

We don't have much front yard or driveway but had a little over an acre of woods behind the tiny back yard so we fenced it for the dogs to run in. Put in a wide gate on the side and there is a good flat space adjoining the gate. The old astro van is 20 years old but only has 77,000 miles and is in good shape. Got the jeep figuring I'd keep the van for occasional toting. Didn't have room to conveniently park it up front along with the new jeep and wife's car, so parked the van out back and I'd start it up every month to keep the battery up.

So when the hounds chased a possum under the van and they were howling and crawling under the van trying to get the possum I thought it was funny. Next time to crank it up, wouldn't start and discovered they had bit the fuel pump wire. So I pulled the fuel pump cable and repaired it, weather sealed the repair with heat-shrink tube. Then crawling back under the truck to reinstall the wire, noticed a couple of other dangling cut wires under the engine compartment where I'm too fat to crawl underneath the van. Also there is a dangling piece of rubber hose near the transmission that is either some kind of overflow tube or a bit piece of hose. Either need to find a shade-tree mechanic who will jack the van up and fix the remaining problems, or probably it would be better to get the van towed to a shop. Then find some kind of place to park it up front where the dawg can't get to it, after its fixed.

So anyway old dad gave me his RV when he got too old to drive, and been leaving it parked at dad's house. Had been planning to park it out back along with the van, but that plan is out because they would be just as likely to eat the wiring out of the RV as the van.
