There is going to be a gun buy back on Sep. 15th here in Memphis. Anyone interested in going down and seeing if there is anything good we can save from destruction?

That is a greAt idea. I wish I had the resources to set up a program like that. I spent 5 years in Austin and they have a very laid back police force in Austin. Actually has a gun pulled on me in Austin and shots were fired as the BGs were driving off. I was unarmed at the time because I was out with friends where adult beverages were being consumed and stepped outside the poolroom to smoke a cigarette(no smoking inside anywhere) when a friend of mine got jumped by 2 gangbangers. I was going back in to help my buddy out when the 2 BGs saw me one pulled a gun coming out the door and I just backed off and they beat feet and fired off 4-5 shots as they were leaving in a car. My buddy got stabbed and had to spend the night in hospital but all was well.

The point is to do something like in the video in Memphis I don't think the police will be nearly as cooperative as the Austin PD. I am sure those guys had a permit for demonstration.
