2 please maitre de. I can't wait to meet everyone. BTW, Big Ed's serves alcohol if I remember correctly, so no guns. :(

edit: I would like to bring my ar, but I'll be in a pickup. Anyone volunteer to let me lock it up in their trunk at Ed's? I'm not too keen on the guncase laying in plain sight on the front seat.

I'll be in my van. You can lock it up in there if you wish.

Sorry guys. I've been out of the loop since Monday....Business...Yes I'm in. Wife's going shopping in Nashville with gf's, my son will be at the grandparents, and I will be on my way to Big Ed's at 12! I think I'm just gonna wait on a gun purchase until after the meet....until I see what you guys have, maybe change my mind a little bit....but I should be able to pack up about 3 to bring.

How many shells should a man plan on bringing and do we need to bring our own targets or will they be provided at the range?

Thanks Phantom, that works for me.

Boom: Bring all your shells, of course.

I don't have any....that's the problem....but walmart does:D

Dotsun, you can actually print out your own targets if you have a printer...just run a altavista search for free targets.

I usually print out a bunch of IDPA targets to shoot at.

its inexpensive and hey...if you save your pennies on the targets, thats more pennies that can be used on ammunition!

Bucket is unsure now:( .

He excepted a job in Roanoke Va starting in two weeks and might have to scope out some temporary living arrangements this weekend (much better paying to support my firearm addiction!). Plans will be last minute depending on my obligations, but I'll try to keep up with things here either way.

Tower, I'll keep you posted too as you had mentioned Jeeppoolin!

Phantom6,

I'm just wondering what all do we need to plan on bringing? Of course the obivious, but concering targets. I plan on printing some off and was wondering what type of facility this is. Do I need to being a cardboard backer for these targets, or will there be some type of backers provided?

Is this indoor, or outdoor. (for appropriate dressing)

How much does it cost to shoot?

Any other details that we might need to know?

hey! glad you thought of that BOOM.

will do, Tung! right AFTER the shoot :D

I went shooting again today..

Julie shot the 22... it has now "officially" had 200 rounds through it..its 100 rounds short of its break in.

I'll leave that 100 rounds for you and your young ones to finish up.

it also has a 16 dollar nylon uncle mikes' holster for it :D that will go with the pistol. Teaching someone to holster a pistol as well as to draw it, is also important!

I may have a +1 as well. I think my wife's shopping trip to Nashville is going to get cancelled. Don't know for sure yet, but it's looking that way. How many of you are bringing your other half?

Mine may or may not come.

As of right this minute, I'll be there though!!

I just talked to Tower on the phone (contrary to suspicion, I believe he is actually human!) and he's planning on coming too.

Does the rifle have sights? if it does, I'm pretty sure that we can show you how to sight it in without the boresight.:meh:

Boresights are really nice to have, but they cost!

It has a scope from what I've heard. I haven't seen it but she says it isn't sighted correctly. We have to go pick it up on Friday from her parents house. I didn't even know she owned one until Monday when I told her I might go shooting on Saturday and she says "can we go get my .22, then I'll come too."
