I've got a Bushnell trs 25 that I've had good luck with. Small MOA dot on lower settings and really bright on high. Battery life is good too.

Bushnell, Tasco, maybe even Sightmark. Or you could spend a little more and get a Vortex. Picked one of those up the other day and have been happy so far.

The cheapo BSA Tube style red dots work well too. I have run one on an AR for years and it has worked great. They are less than $50 or so I believe. Mine is 15 or so years old, so they look a little different now, but this is pretty much it. http://www.amazon.com/BSA-30mm-Red-Dot-Scope/product-reviews/B000N8MZOI/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 . I don't think you would have any trouble on a 22.

Find a Bushnell tube style red dot called a Trophy. It will be model number 730131.

I looked around and it was the only red dot that I was able to find that didn't get washed out in the bring sun. It is durable and keeps zero. Best part it is cheap.

Here are a couple of places online that have them. I bought mine at Gander Mountain a few years back and it was around $80. The online retailers are going to be a lot cheaper.

Prices are going to vary a little so click on each link.

Avoid the Docter type red dots. They are junk if they are under $100. Some of the holographic sights are decent but you need to ask here before buying.

I got a Bushnell TRS-25 off Amazon for around $80.00 and has been a great sight mounted on my 5.45 AR. I have some of the cheap BEC's MiraDot for over 10 years from CDNN and they work great on my .22's.

For a .22......BSA, TruGlo, Bushnell or the like would be fine.

Personally I like the TruGlo stuffs like these....

It'll depend on what you really like or want but any of the ones named here should be just fine for your intended application.
