3 PAGES of M1 carbines all mfg'ers represented.

Price points from 600 - 1000

And yes, they have a Rock-ola or two listed...

If I'm going to take the plunge, shouldn't it be a Rock-ola?

I've been eying an M1 for awhile. One of these days I'll go through with it. Been putting off getting one of the CMP Garand's for awhile now too.

There were a handful of the carbines at the gun show this weekend but they were all priced out of my budget for the month. I can get a Garand for around 5-600 through CMP but always forget about them when I'm gun hunting.

An M1 set has been missing from my collection for way to long now. One of these days I'll have to fix that, hopefully sooner rather than later as it doesn't look good for those Korean war ones to get let back in and prices are going nowhere but up.

What you will get from the CMP for the 5-600 range will not come close to some that you can get local for about 700 or so. Rack grade Garands can have barrels that gauge over 5......there are several guys at the shows that have gauge sets and I have seen guns with good parts and good barrels go for just a little more. In other words....you may get a better gun if you buy local from someone that fixes them up a little,
