This is the Kahr reproduction model. Saw one on gunsamerica for a similar price point as an original. Reviews are poor, but date back to 07 - 09.

Seems to be something missing from your post but why buy a knock-off when you can get an original?

My thoughts were if its new and of equal quality for about the same money, it seems like a good deal.

I think the coolest original to own would be a Rock-ola, so I am keeping my eyes wide open.

I don't have a deadline to buy; the best time to find a deal is when you're nt looking for one.

Get an original if you really want one, there are plenty out there. Those AO replicas will never hold their value like the real thing. 30+ years of Plainfields, Universals and Iver Johnsons prove that.

Even if they are of "equal quality" one is USGI the other is not. New does not = equal.
