What do you think of this design? It seems small but blocky? How does a PPS shoot and handle? What magazine extension is best?

Having owned one until yesterday... it's a great design. IMO, miles above the M&P Shield. It feels great, shoots great, easy field strip, very accurate... one of the best small 9's out there. I had a factory 8 rd mag for the extension.

You can't go wrong with one.

I absolutely love mine. Shoots and feels great. I usually carry it iwb (didn't have to buy new pants) w the 6 round and keep the 7 round in my pocket. I prefer to shoot with those, but will load the 8 round as well.

What he said.

I've had both the 40 and the 9 versions. Liked both, but found the 40 a little too snappy for me. The 9 is a good compromise on size/ capacity/felt recoil. For me, it's the carry size that works. For now. There's always something else on the horizon.

Those that have them swear by them. As stated above the 9mm version is often preferred over the 40. I have handled one and thought it was a weird size and blocky.

I am pretty loyal to Glock, but bought a PPS for my wife's tiny hands. I LOVE this gun. I would choose this over a 26 for EDC.
