desantis intruder IWB holster

Just ordered one of these from midway for $42 for my m&p9c. Been a fan of this style of hybrid IWB holster, have owned comptac and worn a friends supertuck before. The design on this one seems to be a little tighter of the components and not too overly large (galco kingtuk anyone?). I should have it in Tuesday to give a little more info on it for those interested. For $42 it seems like a good buy if it is decent quality, compared to most others being in the $70 range.

I've owned most all the tuckable styles before. The Intruder is a good value. I think the standard hooks are the worst thing about the Intruder, the optional j hooks are stronger. I'm really impressed with the Kholster compared to the others.

I've used the Intruder with both my current EDC (M&P9c) and my former EDC (1911) and I the design works for me. I replaced the original clips with some metal ones that I picked up at Tandy. they are much lower profile. The stock clips are the only part of the holster that I found lacking.

I'm interested in it as well. I carry a full size M&P with a super tuck and find it comfortable, but it never hurts to have options. I don't see a big difference between the king tuck/super tuck, but I find the super tuck more comfortable.

That is the main complaint I have heard on most reviews, is the clips. I will see how these do before I replace them. Should be here Monday then time to get it broken in!

Got my holster in, and there are a lot of things I like about it. The quality is top notch for a mass produced holster. Little things to note are on the reverse side of the clips it has little indents that dig into the leather so they don't rotate (my comptac's clips would loosen and rotate all the time). The clips are a tad beefy, and I may change them out, but will give it an honest effort with the current ones.

Will update this thread again after I get it broken in and give my opinions after wearing it for a couple weeks.
