I stopped being a "Republican" after about a year of "W" I now consider myself a "Goldwater Conservative" Independent. After being a Republican for almost half a century, I take no delight in how the GOP is self-destructing. The Dems don't really even have to campaign. Every time a Republican opens his mouth on TV they re-elect Obama! The GOP needs a purge and all new people, real Conservatives not Neo-Cons!

There is a time and place for everything. I didn't watch the ad but have to say that I agree with almost all the Libertarian ideas but must not see the communist in chief re-elected.

This guy isn't even being honest - he's a "lifelong Republican" until it isn't convenient for his political aspirations anymore...that's the kind of commitment the country does not need.
