I think we've established who here values property rights over gun rights & vice versa already. :surrender:

This one will be referenced next time 'guns in parking lots' comes up surely. I submit this more for a little light reading than anything else.

Georgia carry law banning firearms in churches upheld..

"In this case, Edward Stone and Jonathan Wilkins (“Plaintiffsâ€) each allege in their Amended Complaint that they regularly attend religious services, possess a weapons carry license, and “would like to carry a handgun†while in a place of worship. Plaintiffs seek a declaration that the Carry Law is unconstitutional on its face and as applied to them because compliance with § 16-11-127 will violate their First Amendment right to the free exercise of their religion and their Second Amendment right to bear arms."

first section regarding 1st amendment. pg. 25 starts into the meat of the 2nd amendment.

it's interesting that all of their references from Blackstone regard an individual property owner. a church and a corporation do not generally own land under an individual's name but under an organization. while not applicable to a church if I am a shareholder of a corporation does that not in effect make me part owner or at least enough of one to be included under this umbrella of owner's rights? I don't think this is an airtight conclusion.
