Interesting, what's the capacity? I've been wanting a PMR-30 for awhile now but much prefer the looks of that.

Of course being able to tote around 60 rounds with just one extra magazine is most of my interest.

I'm sure the AMT is alot more $$& as well, but I like it. A lot.

Yep. It's 9+ 1 and Retails for over $800. But it looks good!

The PMR 30 has the ambi-safety, too. Not an issue for me, as I am hopelessly right-handed.

I don't care for Fiber Optic sights, so I prefer the target sights on the AMT.

Took it to the range today and (no surprise) it's more accurate than I am.

And, it jammed after about 25 rounds, then every fifth round or so afterward. Spent shells wouldn't come out on their own. I'm going to give it a good cleaning and try again.

If that doesn't work, I guess the extractor spring is the next thing to look at.

Bummer. Hope a clean and lube does the trick for you. Maybe it's ammo picky?

I believe they have a fluted chamber and this may be the cause of some of the jamming, suppose to keep the slide from opening too soon.

Had an AMT II long ago and it would never go thru a 50 round box of ammo without multiple jams.

I have a .45 hardballer and a .380 backup with no issues. have looked a .30 carbine a time or two just didn't want to give up the bucks. I hate to say it but AMT has a spotty rep. but for some reason I'm attracted to them. The .44 auto mag prices are out of site.

Fluted chamber means it has light imprinted or machined areas inside the chamber to help grab the case and hold it for a split second longer so it does not extract too soon. I also believe some older military semi/auo rifles have the same setup.

i bought one of those about 15 years ago. jambs every 5-6 rounds cleaned it didnt help. my son took that thing apart piece by piece when he got done put 2 mags through it without a failure. it has been in the safe ever since

Looked at one a guy had at the Chattanoga show last week, He had the box & papers with it. But with the $1k price I think he wanted to keep it
