Weird Radar Patterns...

Recommended Posts

I have just been periodically through the night been glancing at the radar on my phone and have all night been seeing what looks to be making "rings". At first I thought it was maybe radiating from the center of the radar station or something but it has continued to move. I googled some strange pictures and it's pretty interesting to see. These are some screenshot pics from the radar on my phone tonight. a6f85144-e78a-d895.jpga6f85144-e7aa-3e94.jpga6f85144-e7ad-9985.jpga6f85144-e7b5-7068.jpga6f85144-e7bc-8cb3.jpg

Those are caused by a shift in the space time continuim. You will probably hear about Elvis sightings as well as Napoleon.

Seriously it is likely from the way the doppler radar reports. They spin around in a circle and can cause a pattern similar to this but I have never seen them that pronounced. In the very middle there is likely a doppler radar.

Dolomite

Looks like another T-1000 series has landed to ruin a movie franchise and remove that much more of my childhood innocence by introducing a mimetic robot composed entirely of liquid metal with no discernible circuitry or power source.

Or it's a doppler radar.

Your 1st three shots are all centered in the same spot, just south of Louisville. The last two are in the same spot near Hendersonville. Those are the 2 locations of the Doppler radars for Louisville and Nashville. It's just an echo. Sort of like seeing the green around a radr site on a clear sunny day. It's just false echo, not rain. Same thing here, just bumped up on the color scale.

I usually wake up if a mouse farts, but slept right though this one. We lost power for only the third time in 7 years in this house. Dolmite is right, but also the closer to the radar site itself it's likely to pick up false returns. I used to drive by a radio station tower for a certain station I listened to everyday, picked up most static from it as I drove by it. With the power of these radars, cell and FM towers, closer isn't always better.
