I don't know anything about this guy, but it seems he has a firm grasp an getting free publicity. This could get interesting.

Why do I feel like he is more conservative than corker? And if so, am I crazy enough to vote for a dem? There is a constitutional party person on the ballot which would be a nice vote instead of Porker.

The Democrat party doesn't like him. That's always a plus.

I heard on the radio this morning that the Dem's lost their lawsuit, and he will be on the ballot in Novermer.

I would just like to see some more actual positions from him on his website...like what he thinks about guns and stuff. I read somewhere on the internet that he was actually a tea party person.

And yes, the Dems were asleep....deeply asleep.

From what I can tell, this is what happened: The Democratic Party Officials did not vet him (there is a 7, or so, day timeframe where they could object to him getting in the Democratic Primary) for some reason or another. People pointed out his beliefs, too late for the party to remove him. The Democrats, I believe, had like a dozen, or so, candidates, with no candidate getting the blessing from the party. So, this guy wins.

Then the Democratic Party freaks out, and states they won't support him. Sounds like the Dems need to clean house, as their officers sure didn't do what they should have, and sure didn't do their due diligence.

For giggles, I just might vote for this guy, as I sure cannot stand Corker. Not like this fellow has any chance of winning.

He's actually a Liberty candidate, I've met him. I expect he would line up with most of our ideas, smaller government, states rights, lower deficit and spending. He may also veer off to some extent when it comes to legalization of drugs and other social issues. Many of the liberty candidates lean toward the libertarian on those issues. I've met him heard him speak, but don't really know anything else about him.
