Brown Bear 5.56

I know it's steel cased ammo but anyone shot this stuff. I'm going to have to buy some to break in my AR but brass cased ammo is a bit expensive without any good deals going on. I saw this stuff with an ammo case for cheap and it will just be for target plinking to align my sight and get a good feel for my AR.

I'll buy Federal 5.56 later on with the green tips and steel core but is this good for practice?

I've shot many thousands of rounds of BB steel-cased ammo through my AR with zero issues whatsoever.

The only issues I've seen is if you fire the Russian steel cased stuff AND THEN fire some brass ammo. The brass seems to get stuck. It may be the sealant/lacquer they use in the steel cased ammo?

No issues with the 'bear/wolf/tiger' ammo out of an AK. It's just quite dirty. (not corrosive though).

No issues at all with WPA "steel case, polymer coated", it's a little weak and really dirty, you might need to change your buffer, this is what's left of 30,000 rounds I purchased last yr
