Glock 19, Xdm 9, Sr9c

Congrats on the new SR9c. Hope it turns out to be a keeper. I can shoot'em pretty decent but just can't get used to them as a carry weapon. Been carrying Glocks now for 7 or 8 years.....they just work for me.

Congrats on the new pistol. I have a glock and an XD and seem to shoot them about equally well. I'm sure the ruger would do just as well.

I have shot the G19 but like the XDm. My carry gun is the XDm 9 with 3.8", carries great in my IWB comp-tac holster.

This is only my second pistols I've ever had, never bought one until my hcp, I was really worried about comfort with a bigger handgun because of my weight (I've got a gut and big ole man hips). Anyway carrying this in a owb at about 3-4 o'clock is actually extremely comfortable.

My everyday carry gun will be my lcp, but with certain activities I do I'll have this with me. Of course whenever winter comes I can carry it much more. I will probably try a crossbreed or similar eventually, but I'm happy with owb right now.

Just an update ran 100 rounds through it with no problems. I love the grip, on both the 10 round and the 17 round magazines, and the trigger is excellent. Its definitely a shooter!

Glad you like your SR9c, I picked up a new SR9 today to put through it's paces and see how it measures up to the Glock and M&P. At this point I can say it has the best out of the box trigger of any like set up I've owned or shot. This really suprised me because the SR9 isn't known for having a really great trigger pull. Time will tell though and I tend to be suspicious until a new pistol proves itself to me.

Not not sure if it goes for the new ones as well but I've heard the sr9 was around 7lb pull while the sr9c was around 5lb

Glad you settled on a gun that seems to suit you. I am an XDm fan myself. Natural grip and I feel like I can get up close to bore line so that recoil does not flip too bad. Glock is my second choice, though I don't own one. They are ugly as homemade sin, but I find them very easy to apply where needed. Ruger fans seem to love that trigger, but it almost makes me queasy to operate. My brother-in-law allowed me to handle his sr9 and I thought I wanted one up to that point. Something about that break doesn't feel right to me, but he is a zealot about that gun.
