When was the last time someone without major money, or access to major money, won the White House? I do not think in my lifetime, I do not think in the past century.

So, who was the last actual "middle class" or "lower class" POTUS? Thoughts?

Harry Truman. Got in when FDR kicked off. Won on his own the second round because he was a "connected polititian" and WWI veteran..

Second one was Eisenhower. Connected war hero, picked by GOP insiders.

I am not responsible for the financial crisis. I hate to tell you. We were a port of safety in the storm. I find it unbelievable that that is the general theme — that you have to walk in a room and act like you are responsible for things you are not responsible for.

That's a good one right there. If AIG had not been bailed out JPMorgan would have been toast.
