I took my p938 extreme out to the range today. I was shooting blazer and hydra-shoks. I had 0 problems out of 60 or so rounds. I love the 9mm. It's definitely harder to shoot because its so small but I feel i can shoot it good enough to defend myself or others if need be.

I cleaned it before I went to the range and oiled it only with Machine Gunners Lube which is a thicker oil (doesn't run that easily) in the normal spots (rail, upper slide where the barrel makes contact, and barrel). I also let some younger folks shoot it another 12 or so rounds and they didn't have any problems either.

I turned down a 938 yesterday .....I did lots of research on them and they really are not ready for prime time

FTFs on Bigdaddy hoffmans youtube channel was the deal breaker...

These new guns are always an issue for MFGs...SIG is a great brand so Im sure they would make it right

but Ill wait

Couple hundred rounds thru the wife's 938 so far...no issues at all with hardball or SXTs.

My Phillipino Rock Island Compact has not failed once after close to 600 rounds.

But, but... That's not a $1000 Kimber or Springfield! It's made in the Phillippines. It's simply not possible!

I had normal break in issues, mainly a few FTE, but after about 400 rounds, zero problems. Of course, I've never had any problems with the 250 described earlier as junk, either.

Guns with "break-in" peorids are a joke.....they should work right outa the box as intended. Could you imagine a toilet with a break in peorid? Gotta flush it 100 times and raise and lower the seat-n-lid 200 times before everything goes down and works like it should.......

I'm not exactly sure what kind of toilet you are making reference to. My toilet is a much simpler mechanism than a semi automatic pistol. I suspect your toliet isn't working properly as you seem to be trying to smear left over redidue from it onto this thread. :stunned:
