Cops Strip Search Mom, "Forcibly" Pull Tampon Out of Her for Maybe Rolling Through Stop Sign

Recommended Posts

Getting pulled over for rolling through a stop sign is whack. But getting pulled over, having a gun pointed in your face, and then being strip searched on the side of the road in front of your two children for rolling through a stop sign is, well, really whack and probably an excessive use of force.

At least. that's what a new lawsuit in the Sunshine State is claiming.

It just seems with 6 officers on scene one of them would raise a red flag if something was wrong. Probably something in this story is being left out or exaggerated. Although, one has to wonder if there is any truth to this story, how would it justify being detained and so forth and then being let go with no citation?

A larger group sometimes makes it LESS likely that a person will speak up. Peer pressure can be intimidating.

That is true. It just seems so outlandish. I'm curious what circumstances must exist before an officer is permitted to enter your body looking for drugs. Certainly it can't simply be an intuition that justifies such a thing. I tell ya, I'd be going to jail for a list of charges if a cop tried to enter my a$$hole looking for drugs.

It sounds like someone did have a red flag....

What is claimed by a plaintiff in a lawsuit does not make it factual. The truth will come out during court proceedings.

And tread lightly on topics that bring negative light to LE.

Since when are we to to tread lightly on topics that bring negative light to LE?

Specially when it is about a violation of civil rights! Now I don't know if I am buying this story or not, however, any good LEO has no problem with a story going public about bad apples. We all want the bad apples removed!

Since day one day one. David is very adament that we, as members of TGO, do not bash our LE community. At least not without proof and proven facts.

Specially when it is about a violation of civil rights! Now I don't know if I am buying this story or not, however, any good LEO has no problem with a story going public about bad apples. We all want the bad apples removed!

Unless you were present during the "pulling" you have ZERO clue as to what really happened.

Some of us here, and if the shoe fits wear it, get all worked up over any negative story about LE no matter how outlandish it may be. And they post topics over and over again as proof that ALL cops are bad.

You can go back and look at previous posts of mine. I am very critical of "bad apples" within the LE community but this story is so over the top. Now if it turns out to be true I will be the first one to call for their punishment. I have a rare insight that a lot of people do not have. I spent the majority of my working life in LE. I have seen "bad apples" and I have fired them as well. I held all my officers accountable all the time.

And I assume you are LE so you must understand how damaging a "story" can be even if it is not true. Imagine if it were you on the receiving end of this "outlandish" claim. It can just as easily happen to you on your next traffic stop. And then your career would literally be over. Even if it was found to be untrue you would for the foreseeable future be known for that and it WILL come into question during promotions and positions.

We need to quit assuming the worst about LE until we have facts.
