Indy & NASCAR this weekend on Sunday

Lots of auto racing going on this weekend, especially on Sunday.

The schedule (EDT) for Indy is at 1:00 on ABC. Pre-race show starts at noon. Green flag at 1:11 p.m.

The NASCAR show starts at 5:00 (EDT) on Fox. Boogedy-boogedy-boogedy.

The race actually starts at 5:45. Digger ducks into his hole!

It's the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. Mikey is having his 500th bad day in a row!

And, it's Claritin Clear to race!!!!

The Nationwide race is Friday night. TV coverage is at 7:00 on ESPN2. The race begins at 7:30.

besides I have sworn off until they switch networks.

I am rooting for Danica at the 500, mostly cause she is smokin' hot and babelicious.

Good god Indy hasn't already happened? It seems like every time I turned the TV on last weekend one channel or another was talking about it.

As for Lowe's Motor Speedway, I believe Kasey Kahne actually owns it. He won the All Star challenge and proved that new tires don't necessarily mean good things there.

I thought the shrub (Kyle Busch) was out of it but the little turd is on his way back to the front. Little E gets his usual dose of bad luck and is out. Truex caught up in a wreck and out. At this point I gotta root for the 31 Jeff Burton as he is the only non whiner, pro driver left at the front. Stewart is a nut case and Kasey Khane just does good commercials !

Anyone got good pics of the Dodge girls who always wreck Casey's car? That would be some decent BOTD

I am not sure what you mean but I love NASCAR, just can't stand Fox's announcing crew aside from Mike Joy. It makes my head hurt to listen to big mouth waltrip.

And all the crass commercialism that they play off like regular commentary turns me off too.

I think if you put a poll up here and the haters didn't come out in droves you would find that most prefer the FOX version of NASCAR. I'm just the opposite and find the 2nd half of the season almost unbearable when NBC takes over. TNT would do better than them.

Weber and has been/never was Wally Dallenbach just don't add as much as the Fox boys since they really have been there and done that. My 2 cents and worth every bit of it.
