Romney's 2nd Amendment history?

Awesome. Would it be an accurate assumption that a vote for either Mutt or Barry is a vote for gun control? :-\

Have any of you "Romney's no different from Obama" folks ever entertained the idea that Romney was appeasing the citizens of his state? Did he submit those laws to the senate for them to pass, or where bills properly voted on by both houses and parties therein and presented to him as bills to sign?

In other words: Was it his freak'n idea?

Gimme a freakin' break. Since WHEN has ANY politician in the last decade truly "appeased" the citizens of his/her state? They go to the state capitol, or to DC, and then they vote the way they want to, or even according to their OWN convictions, or after receiving pressure or payoffs from lobbyists.

Tell me that's not true.

Give me a freak'in break. Answer the question: were those guns laws initiated by Romney or not?

I don't take orders from you.

Ever heard him expound on his own belief in the AWB? Google it.

Still not answering the question, huh? It's ok if you don't know. Google it.

In an interview Romney stated that the gun law bills that he signed were bills agreed to on both sides of the aisle. They were compromise bills between the pro-gun and anti-gun sides.

Oh a Romney vs. Obama thread. We haven't had one of these in a while.

Yeah, I've been ignoring them. This one caught me in a moment of weakness.

Anyone who compromises on the Second Amendment is not worthy of my vote.

Kind of what I was think about you, so I answered the question for you.

Great, so it's no longer an issue then. Good.

Moving on...

Yep, I was about to type an elaborate response but it just isn't worth it judging how the previous posts are going. Vote for who you want, but the country will be better off in the next 4 years with a house majority of republicans and Romney to support them.

So, in your opinion, one person should overrule the elected representatives of the people?

Do you know what "veto" means?
