Actually, more voted FOR it than didn't, so I don't feel like the future is gonna be all roses regarding all this just because it fell 8 votes short of the needed proportion. Just like the 5/4 Heller and McDonald decisions, it's not like all this is a lock for the future, and won't be revisited.

One would have to be loony to think that this is permanent, but for now at least, it's DEAD.

And without me having to type a single word to my so-called representatives...

Had the vote been tomorrow, Lamar and Bailout Bob would have voted differently.

Why? Think it would have cost Bob the primary? Nah. And Lamar doesn't run for two more years.

And chip shots at 2A won't unseat them, strict 2A unity among the Republican electorate ain't all that any more.

It'll be back, one way or another.

Yes, it will, and hopefully with the same outcome as yesterday.

Well, if that's the case, we need to be Tea Partying his ass. Maybe get Poskevich against him. Food for thought. I think Demint will

be an ally in that fight. I think Poskevich, if he sticks in there in TN politics, would get that kind of attention. Cruz got that kind of

support from the RedState crowd and the Tea Parties in TX. No reason why it couldn't happen here in TN.

That's also a message to libertarians to work on their grass roots campaining at the local level. If Alexander got put down, that could light

a wildfire and do some good things for the republic.

Thank God its dead for now. We must keep the Marxist at bay and defeat them.

This crowd in Washington hates the Constitution and the bill of rights.

We need to give Washington a big enima and flush the crap out! :usa:

God bless our great country! :usa:
