LCR 357 Magnum

Got to shoot a friend's LCR 357 Magnum today that he obtained in a gun trade and it handles rather well for such a light weight revolver. My buddy had been shooting 158 grain magnum round's in it and was ready to get rid of it until I convinced him to shoot some 125 grain magnums through it. While doing this I worked with him on his stance and grip with positive results. Now he's happy with the gun and doesn't think it is unconfortable to shoot any more. It really made me feel good to pass on some hard earned lesson's to another shooter and see such positive result's. The only problem is now I'm thinking about an LCR for myself...

And the moral of the story is that you shouldn't shoot a buddy's gun...you'll end up wanting one for yourself. That's happened to me several times.

I wasn't sure if I needed the LCR .357 but bought it anyway. Now it goes with me everywhere. Great trigger and shoots great with 135 grain Speer short barrel magnums.

The LCR .357 is on my list of guns to own someday (hopefully sooner rather than later) ... I rented the .38 spl version one day and as soon as I learned to control the trigger it put shots right where they were supposed to go. Its a sweet weapon.

I have the LCR 357 and it is my 2nd carry. I use Federal 125g Nyclad HP bullets and recoil is good and very accurate.Hard to find ammo and has gotten expensive.
