When I saw the word "speedo" I braced myself for a picture. Mercifully, there was not one to be found. I'm sure you can check South Carolina's laws re: carry. But I don't know if they have reciprocity with us. Well, you know where to look. Paging Dr. Fallguy.

Beaches are not on list of off-limits places according to Handgunlaw.us

There is a provision that prevents carry in "any publicly owned building, without the express permission of the authorities in charge of the premises or property" (Section 16-23-420(a)) But I don't think a beach is building. :P

Also it appears SC has preemption like TN to prevent local ordnances restricting carry.

SC does honor TN permits.
