Anyone have Access Databases or Excel Spreadsheets that they have created for firearms logging and information that they would like to share?

I recommend this one http://www.nmcollectorsoftware.com/downloads/ there's a free version on there. Not sure what restrictions the free version has on it, but we paid a few bucks years ago for the full version.

Give that free one a run and see if you like it, the full version is fantastic and performs a lot more real-world uses than db's/spreadsheets can do.

I just use a spreadsheet with make, model, caliber, serial, date bought, and date sold.

If you have a Mac, I use the program Home Inventory. It lets you put items on where its at in your house, add pictures, serial numbers. If you have a smart phone you can also scan the bar code on the boxes your firearms came in and auto populate the info. It is a real quick process.

I don't remember if I made this or not...but I used this for a while...

I just recently came across this program: http://mygundb.com/

The free version is limited to 10 firearms and not all the features are activated however I'm really impressed with the program and will definitely be paying to upgrade once I'm fortunate enough to build up my collection :)

Among other features the program allows for pictures of your collection to be imported along with tracking of maintenance, round counts, accessories, and ammo. According to the website the program was written to fullfil FFL "bound book" requirements and it certainly appears to have well thought out features.

Dangit, I clicked on the thread thinking it was going to provide a link to databases containing articles on building homemade firearms in case of SHTF.

I other words, I read Homemade Firearms Databases instead of Homemade Firearms Databases.
