Federal legislation to regulate the media?

Every time I sign on the internet, every time I change the channel to some news station I see/hear a story about the psycho who shot up the theater in Colorado with this piece of human garbage's face plastered all over the computer screen and TV. Not only do we all have to suffer this crap but every sociopath psycho out there sees and hears how famous the mainstream media is making him, inspiring all the sociopath psycho's to be famous themselves someday. With the media's radical political left wing ideology blaming the guns that the psycho used and calling for restrictions on American citizens constitutional rights maybe it's time to look at what is making these sociopath psycho's want to commit these murders. FAME. More than anything else, even the thrill of killing humans these parasites get, they want to be famous and an irresponsible out of control media is giving them exactly what they want. I wonder how the sanctimonious elitist's in the media would feel if there was a call for strict federal regulations on what they can report, how they report it, and how much they can report. You think they may scream about infringing on their 1st amendment rights? That's funny since they are so willing to crap all over the constitution, deciding for themselves what rights the media have and what rights the common peasant idiots don't have. That's because they truely believe that they are the elite and everyone else are dumb Neanderthals that should be told and forced how to think and act.

More than anything else these sociopath psycho's are motivated by the fame they are going to be given on a silver platter be an irresponsible main stream media so instead of calling for gun control laws, how about we call for strict regulations on the media and their irresponsible reporting.

While I agree that there is WAY too much coverage of this dude, I can't see regulating the media. I believe they have the right to report freely. I simply choose not to watch.

Well of course they do, i'm not really for regulating the media but I would like to see how they would respond to calls for regulation since they are all for restricting, regulating and crapping all over our 2nd Amendment rights.

There would most likely be unintended consequenses with regulating the media. I'd love

to know how that could be done without one or more brands of politics getting in the way.

I also believe they have the right to report freely, but I also believe they need to report the truth, and not liberal biased BS.

They're working on it!

They're working on it!

Heard on the radio today that there is a lot of legislation on firearms trying to be slipped through in one liners hidden inside of other laws. They really need to pass that legislation about the laws having to fit on one page or they are not allowed.
