For the DUPES who believed Obama wasn't going to call for more gun control laws.

I don't think there is any doubt that we can expect something "Bradyish" if he's reelected. I'm just surprised he said something so close to November... maybe he's thinking there's votes to gain on this now?

It's an eternity until the election. I'm thinking the machine is going to hammer him. He may have done us all a favor.

Think he will try the old Executive Order to get around Congress?

The question should be"what makes you think he wouldn't?"

He has a track record.

“For every Columbine or Virginia Tech, there are dozens gunned down on the streets of Chicago or Atlanta, here in New Orleans. Violence plagues the biggest cities, but it also plagues the smallest towns.â€

IOW we need to replace gun violence with knife, club and sharpened stick violence. :) Give the advantage to the young and strong over the old and weak.

i would like to see one law that was passed banning any gun rights under obama.
He's been trying all along.

What do you think Fast and Furious is about? Arms Trade Treaty? He doesn't care how it happens.

As long as the repubs hold one of the three legislative bodies, we're fine...

Unfortunately I don't think we can survive as a country simply by holding onto one body.

We could and I hope we do see some improvement in Congress with a few more Tea Party Conservative reps/senators take some seats but if Obama is left in office and if Congress is relatively unchanged in its make-up then we can pretty much kiss what is left of our economy and our liberty goodby.

I believe I heard that from the get go they told obama that the 2nd amendment was off the table because of lck of support. Thus obama and holder fast deal. After the fast deal with there hands in the cookie jar they haven't brought it up. But give them another 4 years and it's Kattie bar the door!!!!!!!

Flyboy

PS there is a reason obama isn't in caps!!!!

Or so we've been told...

Yeah, just look at what a great job the Republicans have done in supporting us here in TN since they are pretty much completely in charge AND have a Repub in the Governor's mansion.

And yet no matter what the current socialist in chief does, there are still a significant group of self-avowed conservatives/libertarians who hate Romney so much that they think giving the socialist another four years is no big deal.

I don't get it and I guess I never will...and I'm not sure I want to.

And yet no matter the evidence and indications to the contrary, there is still a significant group of self-avowed conservatives who are so determined to grasp at straws and cling to false hope that they think electing Romney is going to make a significant difference or even save us all from 'certain' destruction. Or maybe they are just so blinded by party politics that they just can't imagine voting for someone other than one of the two sides of the same, plug nickel that gets pushed on this country every year - and then, because they can't remove the party blinders and vote for someone who isn't one of the 'big two', they declare that no one else should do so, either, because an alternate candidate 'can't win' - never seeing that the only reason the alternate candidate 'can't win' is because they and others like them are too scared, too stubborn or simply too indoctrinated to vote outside of party lines.

There are a few we are working towards getting out. Dems don't do that. Cheap shot.

The same way I don't get what you might propose something along the lines of that "alternate" candidate. Ideas

run up and down a 2 way street, don't they?

What I can't imagine is voting for someone who cannot win (and cannot even win a nomination).

What I can't imagine is why anyone would risk the future of the country by not voting for someone who can replace the Marxist/communist.

What I don't want to imaging is continuing with a Marxist/communist in the oval office who has stated plainly that his ultimate goal as President is the fundamental transformation of America.

I guess Ron Paul can fix all that, too. Can he do something about Corker? Zack Poskevich can, maybe, but be ready

to blame him, too.

How would McWhorter have looked as governor? There are always choices. But blame away if it makes you feel good.

Very short memory.

Yep, this is still the internet. I see where this is heading. You must have seen it before me.

RP (or Romney for that matter) has the veto that would stop all but super majority legislations. If Romney wins, hope he isn't afeared of using the veto and making himself look uncooperative. G.W. thought vetos might hurt somebody's feelings and hardly did any. RP brags he would veto about anything unconstitutional or intrusive. Not that this is at all a productive path to tread yet again. :)

I’m too scared. And I’m not afraid to admit it. I wish I had someone other than Romney to vote for; but I don’t. I’m scared to death that Obama will be reelected; it will be devastating to my country. But I’m not too stubborn or to indoctrinated to vote outside party lines; I’m intelligent enough to know that any third party candidate running right now has absolutely no chance of winning and I would just be throwing my vote away; insuring Obamas reelection.

Voting isn’t a popularity contest, a way to send a political message, or a way to feel good about yourself; its serious business, you are choosing who will be the President for the next four years.

Once again we find ourselves voting for the lesser of two evils because the guys we wanted didn’t make the cut.

It's like groundhog day.

Yeah, the only prediction that can be made correctly is if the commie gets re-elected, then you can count on further destruction of American liberties, freedoms, and the trampling of the constitution. America will become Amerika, and even a groundhog can make that prediction correctly.

Very true.. "Elections have consequenses."

I'm not necessarily excited about voting for Romney, but I can't wait to vote againt obama. I do not consider a third party vote to be a vote against obama because RP cannot win. Romney can and obama will be packing his bags if we pull together as voters. Obama needs to be fired by the American people at the ballot box in November!
