This morning while getting ready wife had the local news on.Obama talking (imagine that) but he said "ak's need to be in the hands of soldiers and not criminals".I thought the shooter had an ar now I know the media will call a wooden rubber band gun an ak but why are we on the ak classification again.

Another example of the high intellect and attention to detail manifested by our God-King-Child-Communist President.

He was also rambling about background checks. We already do that its called a 4437.Its not like they havent heard of them they did just change them asking if you were of latino race or not.

AR and AK are hard to tell apart on the teleprompter screen. I keep hoping he will say AR-47 or AK-15 or something cool that will inspire a new gun design.

I believe he said criminals, not civilians. Obviously, only criminals have them... Obama, being criminal, prefers AKs?

But I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals -- that they belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities,

I have a ARK-1547. My wife was telling me she saw this on the tv this morning. As I recall, he also had a shotgun that seems to have been forgotten...

They probably use those words interchangeably anyways. citizen == criminal

Apparently interchangeable depending on how it suits the situation...

yeah I thought we already had laws to keep them out of the hands of "criminals"

his administration seems just fine with giving them to the drug cartels. i guess its ok to have them on mexican streets just not ours.

Yeah, but he did say something that I did like.

" And I, like most Amereicans, believe that the Second Amendment guarntees an individual the right to bear arms."

He didn't use the word militia, but an individual. I think that phrase would make a hell of a good bumper sticker.

There is an election coming up. He would say anything he thought might get him votes. He doesn't even know the difference between lies and truth. He just says whatever fits the moment.

Oh. I thought this was about a jump from Arkansas to Alaska.

Well, the Grand Poobha is geograpically compromised. I'm still looking for those 7 extra states to add to my travel list, you know.

You and me both. I have an idea on how I want the AK 15 designed. Pretty much like an AK47 using stainless steal parts, so it would be even more reliable then then old standard AK47.

For us as a country to supposedly be color blind, we sure do put a lot of effort and money into figuring out and tracking people's ethnicity.
