So I have primarily been an AR guy but have been getting into AKs as of late. Really interested in building one as opposed to buying one. My problem is that I have limited experience. Is there anyone in the area that could show me a few things? I've done a lot of reading and you tube viewing but I have limited experience. Heck if even for this first build I wouldn't mind paying someone to do it so I can watch and learn for the next one. Any suggestions?

Edit** And in my reference to buying one I meant one thats already built.

Not in TN, but I would highly recommend calling AZEX (http://azex.co), Derek over there is a fat ugly bastard but he turns out some of the highest quality AK's available.
