Tell me everything I need to know about hog hunting

Every year for 10 years I have gone to a preserve in East Tennessee outside of Crossville. The hunting preserve has not only Russian Hogs of full blood European descent,Russian – Feral crosses and I have taken both. I use a 458 Socom, 30-06, 12 gauge, and 460 Smith Magnum pistols. Damn smart animals with incredible noses but if you don't kill them clean they can make you turn into a squirrel really quick. I really like to stalk them, I don't like hunting over bait personally as I am not that patient. Hunting in cooler weather I find to be much more successful than hot weather as they tend to bed down in hot weather and it's hard to kick them up.
I find it very rewarding and I love to hike in the hills of the Cumberland Plateau as the terrain on this property is extremely rough in areas. I know there are people that will poo-poo the idea of hunting a fenced in property, but I've been rewarded with plenty of challenge factor on each of the trips I have taken. I look forward to my next hunt as I am steadily cleaning out my freezer of my meat stash. I love me some hog huntin! Here is one of the Sows that I took with the mighty 458 Socom!1459162680_zpsthr8yyge.jpg1459162696_zpsboh9x4o4.jpg
The area we go is called Loshbough Hunting Lodge.
