Everytime I drive from Chattanooga to Nashville I see this sign around the Kimball exit. It looks like this place is actually 5-10 miles from I-24, but in Bridgeport, AL. Has anyone ever taken a detour and checked this place out? Obviously I couldn't buy a gun there, just wanted to see if it was worth my time to hop off the interstate for this one.

:woohoo:

Unless I'm mistaken they are in TN. Thought the sign said exit 152, turn left (since exit 152 is a wrap around you would be headed north not south). I'm not sure about this, I did go looking it once (I went south and never found it).

Anyone that has been there please clear the cloud of confusion on this.

I went there once, it is in Al. you can buy long guns from them but the handguns will have to go through a FFL. The prices was about average for gun shops, I did not see any great deals.

You wouldn't be able to buy a handgun but if I'm not mistaken you could still buy a rifle.

I hunt down that way and stop in on occasion. The they do have a large selection of new and used guns and lots of clothing and related items. Their prices seem about average.

I might take a slight detour and check it out tomorrow, as well as the surplus store on the top of Monteagle. Yes, there is also a Big Daddy's Fireworks, but that's a few exits away from what I remember.

No, you can buy a handgun there.

There is an FFL in South Pittsburg, TN that they use. You buy your gun there... they drive it up to Slicks Gun and Pawn in South Pittsburg and you pay 40 freakin bucks for a transfer.

They're both crooks if you ask me. Dont do business with either.

I stopped in over the weekend that you had the 5.11 sale, although I was there early and very briefly...I definitely added it to my list of favorite shops.

I make it a point to stop at Larry's up on Monteagle whenever I am headed down to Chattanooga or Atlanta. I always find something there that ends up coming home with me.
