Doomburg says to Piers Morgan

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg told CNN's Piers Morgan last night that he doesn't "understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike, we’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe."

How can someone be so screwed up to keep relecting this babbling idiot to office.

I wish all the New York City cops would go on strike.

It would probably get rid of Bloomberg. It might even

take something as absurd as that to accomplish it,

since he's evidently got an iron fist with his council.

I really, really hate this guy. He just doesn't get it.

I respect what law enforcement professionals do and recognize that I do not have the patience or strength to do that for a living. With that said, my rights are more important than their safety. That is how it works. Life would be much safer and easier for law enforcement if we did away with the majority of our inalienable rights. Bloomberg is a Napoleanic egomaniac. His philosophy on the role of government is so incredibly dangerous and I don't get how people up there accept it, but they do. It wouldn't bother me, since I think New Yorkers deserve the overreaching nanny government they elect, but Bloomberg repeatedly tries to extend his power beyond the borders of his tiny little utopia. He is a very dangerous man.

Poose Morgan needs to waddle his ass back to England. The way he treated John Lott was disgraceful. Bloomberg... did anybody notice that both candidates just blew him off? Little gasbag with a weak following.

I thought their job was to keep us safe?

Incorrect. The Supreme Court has opined that they have no such duty. Their only responsibility is to attempt to catch perps after they have already committed the crime.

Well even more reason to carry and be ready for whatever might happen.

I think the entire gun and ammunition industry should announce tomorrow that they agree with him. They agree so much that not one gun, round , or component for reloading will be sold in NY NY. Not to the police, not to anyone. How long then will it be before they run him out on a rail?

it is illegal for a public sector official to incite striking by public sector employees. I 'spose laws are just for us, not Mr. Bloombug.

Bloomers writes his own laws. I think his idol is Mussolini. Maybe Napoleon.

I swear NY is another country and he is the one the elected. I am having trouble putting into words what I think about him.
