One of my stops on my Civil Wargasm of the last two weeks (Gun related)

I got to spend half a day (And about a half hour the day prior) at the NRA National Firearms Museum. The NRA has built a Mecca for Gun Enthusiasts. It is really one of those places you need to visit at least once in your lifetime. I have been to a lot of firearms museums. I grew up close to APG and with all the Armor and Arty, spent lots of days inside the small arms museum, this has them all beat. They have firearms and accouterments here that wont be found anywhere else. Some of the things I thought were really cool, were all of the Generals Retirement Presentation Guns they have, all the movie guns, Civil War Guns, with provenance, all the Olympic Shooters rifles and pistols, really just everything. They have probably the nicest indoor range I have ever seen and the staff WANTS you to shoot there, one of the guys followed us around constantly telling us how nice the range is and we need to go home and get one of our guns and come back and shoot their range, price IIRC was 15 per hour for non NRA members and 12 or 13 for members. Here are some pics. This is just some of the things they have. Ill post more later on this thread.

That's looks like a great way to spend a day. I would guess they have someone cleaning the glas cases constantly because I know there has to be guys drooling while their noses are pressed against the glass!!! I would be!

What city is that in? (Yeah, too lazy to Google!)
