No surprises...it ran perfect. I put 300 rounds of 115 grain Federal, American Eagle, and MagTech ammo through it and it ran like a champ. I'm pretty sure I have the "new" recoil spring already installed. It has a "0 4 2" around the base of the spring. Either way, I had zero FTF, FTE, and no other problems. Great pistol. Can anyone shine some light on these numbers on the spring base? Is this the corrected spring assembly?

The number just means it has the "newer" Recoil Spring Assembly.

The older one had No number on it. Do a search on "Glock RSA Number"

The correct way of typing in your number is "0-2-4" if you want to research your RSA.

Refer to this chart: http://glock.pro/glo...blies-gen4.html

You can also call Glock and ask them.

Here is their RSA exchange page with the number to call if you want to be sure yours is the newest.

Thanks TnShooter83. Exactly the info I was looking for.

No problem man, Looks like you got yourself a good pistol there.

I've never owned a G17, but if they shoot half as good as my G19 I know it's a keeper.
