No R anywhere in there. I am not talking about 7.62x54mmR being called that. Never heard that round called anything other than that.

7.62x54R can mean rimmed, Russian, Russian 30.06... It's whatever you want to call it, we all are talking about the same thing.

I've owned two of these PTR91s. I shot nothing but 7.62 nato in them. Nice battle rifles at a good price. Honestly, as nice as the HK91s but at half the price. If you don't like the AR stock it can be easily changed for a fixed HK stock, folder, etc.
