Hahahaha!

Was pondering further and concluded that I am just being silly in my old age. The law is entirely logical and authorities protect us from evil-doers for our own good.

-- Scales are drugs when in vicinity of coleman fuel, iodine or coffee filters

-- A receiver is always a firearm

-- A rubber band in vicinity of a receiver is an automatic weapon

-- Obviously fertilizer in vicinity of grow lights would be marijuana.

-- By the same logic of course a soldering iron in vicinity of electronic parts would not only be a credit card sniffer but simultaneously the parts would also be a GPS jammer, illegal transmitter, highway radar detector, and any other illegal electronic device imaginable. This is a practical macro demonstration of the principle of quantum superposition.

-- Any fool can plainly understand that a block of metal in vicinity of a mill would be a receiver. Receivers are firearms. Because the block of metal could easily be machined as an automatic receiver then obviously a block of metal in vicinity of a mill is an automatic weapon. No other conclusion makes sense.

On the other hand, the following video conclusively proves that scales in vicinity of ducks are not drugs. Therefore if one happens to own scales then to avoid suspicion one might take the precaution of storing a duck on the same shelf--

All states have a provision somewhere in their legal statutes that states that all of the "Castle Doctrine" Stand your ground" and self defense provisions do not apply if the adversary is a police office going about the conduct of his business. In short, a LEO can pretty much shoot anybody he wants to consider dangerous as long as he is on duty. If you don't know he is a cop and are afraid for your life you are still wrong, he is a cop and you cannot threaten or harm him.

Cop walks.

Yeah, it's just a theory. The article didn't say the amount of drugs recovered. From the media accounts he had marijuana. Not normally associated with violent behavior, but who knows what some people will do when they feel cornered. I think that is going to be a factor in the investigation of the shooting. Some would argue that it shouldn't, since having drugs doesn't give police the right to just shoot you or enter your apartment. However, we don't know that the deceased didn't react with deadly intent towards the officers because he was afraid of being arrested. It's a murky situation. The fact that there is doubt that the police announced themselves is really an "x" factor here as well. It could be argued that the deceased didn't know.. maybe he thought he was being robbed. I don't think we'll ever know since he's dead and the officers aren't going to readily admit to wrongdoing.
