Top is pretty much stock 10/22 with Archangel Target stock and a threaded 1:11.25" Optimal Twist 16.5" barrel, sporting a Eotech 512. Weighs 7.5lbs. The 1:11.25" barrel should throw 60 grain Aguila SSS with some stability and accuracy and will probably shoot 40 grain ammo good enough. Weighs 7.5lbs.

Bottom is hardly a 10/22 at all with Archangel Target stock PWS T3 toggle receiver, Urban Rifle Supply 29" 1:16" twist barrel carrying a Weaver 2-7x28 rimfire scope. Weighs about 8lbs 1 oz and is 4' long.

Why the Eotech? Because I could and because I am fresh out of decent scopes with either 50/60 yard parallax or AO/SF. Soon I will be getting a 10x42mm Side Focus scope for the long barrel "10/22" then I will put the Weaver rimfire scope on the shorter barrelled Archangel.

You have officially declared war on squirrels. The top being for close quarters, and the second being for long range sniping.

Sweet rifles though.

I only have 4 10/22s. I have a quite a pile of spare parts. I traded 4 take-off barrels for a 1st class threading job on another. I have 3 semi-serious 10/22s and one that is sort of used for cannibalizition. I only have 6 other .22 rifles besides the 4 10/22s. The other 6 are pretty neat in their own right: a 1956 Win 62A, 1950 Win 63, 1956 Rem 572, 1971 Rem 552, Toz 78-01, and Marlin XT22. About the only .22 rifle I have any interest in these days besides the ones I have would be to run across a nice Mossberg 144 T-handle. But I can live without it. Comment about the Toz. This is the model that Winchester restocked and called the Wildcat. However, Winchester also did away with the adjustable trigger under the Wildcat moniker. The last I heard was that at one time CDNN sold Toz 78-01's for 129.00. That Toz is a nifty rifle with a very crisp trigger.

Toz 79-01 overall length about 38, barrel is 21+" and weighs about 4.25lbs. I put a Williams receiver sight on the grooved receiver that works well with the SKS/AK-like front sight. Uses a AK or SKS front sight post adjusting tool. I've done a little shooting with it and I think it has way more potential than the price might have indicated. I traded for it.
