Yep, but a good repost. I had the discussion with an engineer last week about the 700 "trigger problem". A couple of things you can get from this video. One of the three biggest lies in the world: It just went off. If you put adjustment screws in anything, some goober is gonna turn them the wrong way.

A responsible gun owner could own a gun that theoretically goes off on it's own and still be safe. A responsible gun owner understands and practices proper muzzle discipline. Most gun owners are NOT responsible. Disagree? Go to any public or private gun range, anytime, anywhere and you will see someone cross a muzzle with flesh. I don't care if you just unloaded it.

I hate the story where the kid got shot from a supposed faulty trigger, but I'm hard pressed to feel sorry for any of them. If you are not conscious of your muzzle, your target and your backstop at ALL times, you shouldn't own a gun.

I am glad this was reposted. I had not seen it, and I watched the entire video. Caster also hits the nail on the head as well. I know one thing, when I am in the market for rifle, the Rem. 700 is going to be looked at. I own a couple Remington's and could always add more.
