Action starts at 40 seconds in .. It's Startling to see a bull shark appear from nowhere and take the fish.. LOL

That happened to my Dad while deep sea fishing many years ago. They were catching tuna and he had one on. About the time it got close enough to the surface to see, he said there was a flash of blue/white, he nearly got jerked overboard, and the reel was spinning faster than he'd ever seen. One of the boat crew ran over and cut the line. Win some, lose some.

I would be happy to lose a fish to get to safely get to watch that up close & in person. Heck I would throw it another fish to see it again.

Fishing in open water, pretty common to have sharks trail or strike at your catch, just not usually from your backyard on small estuary or canal or whatever that is.

Then again, makes sense if that's a bull shark, as they are known to go way up rivers, can do just fine in brackish water, and even tolerate pure fresh water for some time.
