To trade or not to...

Hey guys,

I have a Fallkniven NL5 Idun that I received in a trade. Very beautiful fixed blade knife. But I'm finding myself wanting a high end folder a Strider perhaps so that I can carry it. I'm debating about trading or selling the Fallkniven and picking up a Strider or a ZT Hinderer. Any thoughts?

Are you a fixed-blade or a folder guy? Both Fallkniven and ZT/Hinderer make really nice quality knives.

Are you looking for a safe queen or something to carry and use? On a day to day basis folding knives make a lot more sense for me. On an emotional basis I love a fixed blade. Thus, my safe is filled with fixed blades and my pocket is filled with a folder.

It looks like the value of the Fallkniven would put you into a ZT 0560/0561 with a little bit of cash left over. In that price range I might also look at Chris Reeve knives. I've got an Umnumzaan that has turned into my every day knife.
