I have three Don Hume J.I.T. Slides, for my Smith k frame, Sig 228, and Beretta Tomcat. The design pulls the grip close to your side to help with concealment. They're very good for the money...beat some more expensive holsters I've got.

I have that first one for my full size 1911, and I love it. You really can't beat it for the price.

I use their IWB for my PT-145. It is pretty good for the money. If you have to unholster and reholster a lot you are not going to be happy with it because it does not have a metal band to keep the mouth open. But if you only plan to draw your weapon on rare occasions you should be pretty happy with it. It does move around a fair amount, but that makes it easy to shift when moving from a seated to standing position.

I like that, but I'm trying to get away from IWBs.

Will you, by chance, be going to the shoot in Spring Hill tomorrow? I'd like to take a look, but I don't want to put you to all the trouble of meeting when I'm not really ready to committ to buy.

Except for the Bianchi on the web belt, I use Humes these days. Good holsters at good prices. It's hard to find a shop that stocks them. I'd check with Hero Gear before ordering directly.

I am using the one in the first picture you posted for my S&W 4506-1(.45ACP). I absolutely love it. It hugs tight up against my body and even with the large size of my handgun, it is concealed nicely. I tried one like in your 2nd picture for the same gun and found that the weight of my gun tended to pull it down and away from my hip making it very uncomfortable. Went with the 1st one and will always have one like that. I highly recommend it. I paid $25 for it at a R&K show in Knoxville.

We ordered a JIT slide for my wife's S&W #642 and it arrived in the mail today while we were at the TGO meet. I was pretty impressed with how well the holster tucks the revolver up against your side. Not bad at all for such an inexpensive piece of leather.

I went to the show in Smyrna today, saw a JIT and one very similar to the H710 by another makes. Got the "H710" ... now I need a new belt. I haven't worn a belt regularly in about 15 years, and uh, well ... my belly doesn't like my current belts.

Also picked up a range bag ... new gun toys for me today!!

Thanks for all the help, fellas.
