Now his proposal. Since the Primitive survival class, Dave and Don, really caught dads attention. He has since offered his land for the next class, including hunting privileges. But, he wanted to know if some people would be interested in pitching in time and sweat to build a backwoods style cabin for these events. He is intrested in hosting one every 3-4 months, and has land to build on, and will provide the logs for the cabin, and most raw materials. We just need help putting it together, and need to know that theres even an interest in doing these kinds of events on a regular basis. Let us know if your interested in helping, and in continuing the Primitive events. Thanks guys

I'm in, when travel time allows. It was a little over 4 hours for me, every weekend would be hard for me...

Dave, theres no way Id exoect you to make that drive more than ever six months lol. Id love it if you could make events / camp outs/ rendevouzs on a 3-4 month basis. One thing about hosting there, we have 72k acres of woodlands behind us, 35-40 acres pvt owned, a full blacksmith shop, and all kinds of primitive living tools and equipment on the property already.

If I could get a ride out there, I'd be more than happy to help. I'm not much when it comes to experience or knowledge with anything hands on (I am working on that) but I've got a no problem being a pack mule. I enjoy some good physical labor every now and then, sometimes I wish technology didn't remove us from it quite so much.

I would be very interested in helping out. I live about an hour away from you. Only thing is I work a lot this time of year. During the winter however, I could contribute a good amount of time, just depends on the time frame you are looking to build this thing in.

Yes I would like to help as well. Time and place for planning. I need at least 30 days notice.

Great pics of all that stuff. I hope he teaches you how to use all that stuff, it's quickly becoming a lost art. Building the shed/cabin sounds fun to me. Might be a good idea to wait until it's a tad cooler.

Count me in (of course), but allow me time every now and then for honeydo's and work - that way maybe I won't have to move in once we get it done. :biglol:
