Check this out. A lot of the time, America gets criticized by other countries, and even by some of our own citizens, to the point that we're damned if we do and damned if we don't.. I found this article refreshing.

I've personally emailed Janet (janeta@bigpond.net.au) and thanked her for her article. It's nice to know that someone notices the good that America does in this world; after all, too many are more than ready to point out the bad.. even if they have to exaggerate or even make it up completely.
