This SWAT-ing phenomena has been occurring a lot more lately against conservatives whom the left absolutely hate.

It's amazing what passes for 'journalism' these days. A LOT of pertinent information was left out of the article that i linked. Shame on so-called journalists. I should have researched that one better. My bad.

All others have been rock solid, including several that you and others tried to call as foul balls, but which I backed up with further articles and documentation. Sorry one out of a hundred didn't make it.

I spend 8-10 hours a day on the internet, on political blogs, reading numerous newspapers from around the country and world. I consider myself to be up on the latest critical topics and weed out 99% of the crap before I present what I consider to be of interest to like-minded people. I am also amused by the absurd and extremely hypocritical in politics, which I occasionally post to demonstrate the absurdity of politics.

I believe that there is an 'ignore' option on TGO, which I do not use because I find some folks on here extremely amusing, no matter how much thy annoy me. However, I suggest that if my posts are not of your taste, please, by all means 'ignore' me.

I was just wondering if anyone was hurt when “GOP Congressman's Sister's Home gets SWATTEDâ€, only to look at the news and see that is not what happened at all. Just good Police work, a bunch of drug rats taken down in a standoff with Police, one of whom happened to be the sister of a Congressman.

Just having some fun man, we appreciate you keeping us informed; keep up the good work.

Ain't advocating illegal activity but swatting of lawmakers would at least create "teachable moments". Lawmakers would experience law and appropriations up close and personal.

Some stories sound too true to be false. Tis easy to get fooled. We could be WILDLY WRONG 13 out of every 20 times while still maintaining a higher batting average than Babe Ruth!

For scant reason except encroaching senility, swatting of the rich and powerful brings to mind this old Dave Chappelle skit. Warning-- Safe for TV but not safe for the office, children or adults with delicate sensibilities.

What is going on with journalism today? Are these articles written by 5 year olds? What the hell is "two methamphetamines"?

Anyway, I don't see what the story is other than the fact that this Rep has a meth whore for a sister. Hardly a sinister plot. If there are any alterior motives to the SWAT team being deployed for a few trailer park meth heads I would say it was to justify their budget and hopefully get their own reality show like the other 500 PDs in Texas with their own SWAT show on Tru TV.

God forbid I ever hold a public office and one of my dirtbag relatives does something stupid that makes the news. I have a few of them in the family and I don't see how their actions reflect on mine. I have an uncle that's been in jail more times for drugs than Robert Downey Jr but I still see him at Christmas. It doesn't mean that I'm hitting him up for a dime bag.
