A little more information here in this link. The story is still pretty sketchy. They did not even say when this happened, or the name of the suspects or when they were arrested, even after tracking them for four days using the GPS in his cell phone. Something here does not pass the smell test. There is more to this story than the good State Rep is willing to admit to the press. Contrary to his statement in the story, I think this isn't about giving Memphis another black eye. This is about not harming someone's reputation during an election year. Hookers, drugs, homosexual love triangle?....

"I could not believe that after I'd been thrown to the ground, they took off my pants," Kernell said.

Technology is a wonderful thing.

The only part of the story that I do not understand is why the Police are releasing no information about the suspects.

hmm, they took his pants and the police are not releasing details about the suspects. I bet it was the underpants gnomes. I agree this smells funny.
