The recoil really is not that bad - the short barrel results in some/most of the powder burning outside of the gun, the semi-automatic action absorbs some of the energy, and the inch of rubber on the stock eats the rest.

You have to remember I am 6'2" and 165lbs - it don't take much to shove me around (and I was not leaning in enough ;) ).

when Grant was working/vol at the MC shooting range he had a monthly shotgun match and there was one guy that showed up most of the time. he had one but i think it was 12 or 14" barrel it to was a blast! but you did have to use the full choke to knock the steel over. BUT WHO CARES!!! :)

Unfortunately, this one lacks the means to mount a choke, so its usefulness (if such a device could be considered "useful" to begin with) does not extend past conversational range.

Have not tried bump-firing yet - I figure the recoil is energetic enough as it is.
