Thankfully, there's TV Land.... Andy was a good guy. He had to put up with the idiot Barney. LOL. I regret that TV is not more like that these days.

I'm also with OS.. Elinor Donahue on FKB was HOT!

I have the first five seasons of the Andy Griffith show. We've watched them over and over. Classic.

Most folks love Ellie and hated Helen.

And, I guess we'll need to over look some of his political positions, seems he was never really in your face with those as some actors are today, and just say that all his superb on camera characters out weight them and leave it at that.

That's one show I can watch re-runs over and over.

Does anybody remember "Salvage" where Andy plays a junkyard owner who builds a space ship out of junk to go to the moon and bring back the equipment left there? It was a bit of a farce but I liked that show.

Salvage One. I used to love that show.
