Just saw where Andy Griffith passed away . So sad . I know everybody had to love the Andy Griffith show, Not to mention "No time for sargents" Alot of us grew up with him. For sure a TV classic.

Agreed. Ellie was hot. So was Nurse Peggy (Joanna Moore). Helen was too b*tchy. Even the blonde lawyer woman was better than Helen. Helen's first movie was with Steve McQueen in The Blob (1958) before the Andy Griffith Show.

I can't say I liked his politics (specifically his AARP/Obamacare commercial) but I grew up with his show and loved it (and still do)...I went to Mt Airy NC in 2010 as part of my vacation; it's a great place to visit if you loved the Andy Griffith Show.

Does anybody remember "Salvage" where Andy plays a junkyard owner who builds a space ship out of junk to go to the moon and bring back the equipment left there? It was a bit of a farce but I liked that show.

RIP Andy; you left quite a legacy of a way of life that sadly, we'll never see again.
