Greetings from Michigan. I'll be moving to SE Tennessee before the year is out. This seems like a good place to familiarize myself with all things guns in Tennessee. I love my corner of Michigan, but I am looking forward to living in Tennessee.

I just did some reading on the site. It seems that Tennessee will treat my hand gun permit request as a "renewal" since I already have a permit from Michigan. It seems that I have 6 months to take care of it upon establishing residency. All good to know - I think I've come to the right place.

Update:  Been in Tennessee since November.  Applied for my carry permit when I got my drivers license.  Paid $50 and had my picture taken.  Still haven't received anything in the mail.
