Army Wives - Pro Gun

Did any of you catch the pro-gun part of Army Wives last night? Must be some pro-gun women at Lifetime.

After Denise killed her attacker….

Denise: Thank You

Frank: Huh?

Denise: Thank you for teaching me to shoot and making sure I go to the range every year. When I held that gun, I knew what to do.

Frank: That’s the point of training; so you don’t have to think about it when you need it.

And don't try to tell me none of you guys watch Army Wives....

Nope. I use my TV veto power in the household very wisely and Army Wives is one of those I use it on. Of course, my wife DVRs it and watches it when I'm not around, but it saves us both from an hour of me yelling at the TV for being so incredibly detached from reality.

I don't, but I do find Cathrine Bell quite fetching! Oh, and it's nice to see Hollywood going Pro Gun! :)

My wife watches it. I don't. There are too many issues as pointed out above that keep my from being entertained. Though I must admit, Catherine Bell before she messed her face up was a good reason to watch.

After lusting over Miss Bell for many years, I gave up watching her. What's with the "messed up her face" comment?

She has had a significant amount of plastic surgery. Most of it is fine, but she has had some plumping and stretching done around her lips and mouth that just make her seem a little unnatural lately.

I still find her attractive, I just found her more attractive before her cosmetic surgery.

You know, that seems, at least to me, that most women that have this type of work done always seem to end up looking fake and artificial after this. I've always preferred natural looks to the"man-made perfection" that comes from surgerical transformations.

Not having seen the "after" look, I still think Catherine Bell was one of the most beautiful women in the world, with a kind of girl-next-door appeal to her. I saw a Maxim magazine she did and was just blown away by here beauty.

But that's just my opininon.

My wife told me about it the other night I thought it was a good thing that would help some women that are on the fence about gun ownership.
